Camden NW1
Fashionable and youthful, increasingly grubby-looking. Nearby areas: Euston, Kings Cross & Holborn.Recommended pubs
-
Golden Lion 88 Royal College Street
NW1 0THAn old fashioned pub where you should avoid the wannabees of Camden and find a well-used and accessible dart board.
-
Sheephaven Bay 2-3 Mornington Street
NW1 7QDSomething of a haven in Camden. Previously the Mornington Arms. Has a team in the Archway & District league - on one visit, a line of locals were sitting at the bar discussing the merits of Kevin 'The Artist' Painter, who they were watching on TV. Visited July 2010.
-
Constitution 42 St Pancras Way
NW1 0QTBoard next to the bar, but crowded with non-playing drinkers on last visit. Probably fine to play on a quiet week night.
-
Escape Sports Bar 2 Lidlington Place
NW1 2JULarge pub serving the council estates surrounding it. Great dedicated dart setup upstairs as you enter. Nice solid ockey, good board, spacious area to play with no one to disturb you. Another board is also located at the back in the function room. Not visited - suggested and reviewed by Ramon Bello. Added January 2012.
-
Hope and Anchor 74 Crowndale Road
NW1 1TPBoard in the back bar, with a table next to it; no chance of playing when something big is happening around the corner at Coco.
